He has proven expertise in curriculum design, program leadership, academic governance, and corporate relations within premier institutions, including the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI –an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India). He is an active researcher with publications in several peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.His areas of interest include HR, labor laws, public policy, and institution building. Sudarshana Jha

Sudarshana Jha is an Assistant Professor at SRM Law School, Chennai. She is an early-career international trade and investment law specialist, holding an LLM in International Trade & Investment Law from O.P. Jindal Global University and an Integrated BA-LLB degree from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Her research portfolio includes one authored book and ten peer-reviewed articles on subjects ranging from WTO customs duties on electronic transmissions to TWAIL critiques of neo-liberalism and bilateral investment treaty interpretation. She has interned with the Centre for Trade and Investment Law, Tata Steel, and SKOCH Group, among others, and received the PM-YUVA Award (2021-22). Souhardya De

Souhardya De is a Fellow in Mainline Political Economy at the Mercatus Center. He has worked with think tanks, policymakers, and ministerial bodies in Delhi, Washington DC, and London. De is a former PM YUVA Fellow with India’s Ministry of Education and an alumnus of the Chatham House’s Policy Leadership Program and the DC-based American Enterprise Institute’s Summer Honors Program. He has written for the Global Taiwan Brief, the Critical Asian Studies, and the SAIS Review for International Affairs and has also engaged with parliamentary committees, providing expert testimony and assisting MPs across both India and the UK. Gayatri Srivastava

Gayatri Srivastava is a Delhi-based lawyer specializing in indirect tax litigation, with experience across customs law, Goods and Services Tax (GST) and allied regulatory matters. Her practice involves complex questions of statutory interpretation, constitutional law, tax policy, customs classification and valuation, and international trade regulation. She regularly engages with disputes involving the intersection of taxation, commerce, and public law, with experience in legal research, litigation strategy, and drafting before judicial and quasi-judicial forums. Beyond her legal practice, Gayatri has a keen interest in public policy, international trade, economic regulation, and the evolving relationship between law and economic governance.

Prapti Sharma
Advisor, Human Rights and Constitutional Law

Prapti Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Law at Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, and a PhD Scholar in Law at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, Punjab. She holds an LL.M. in Constitutional Law and is a published author with the National Book Trust, India. Her scholarly work includes presentations at multiple national and international conferences on themes such as constitutional governance, gender justice, environmental justice, and human rights. With a strong focus on interdisciplinary legal research and academic excellence, she is deeply committed to advancing justice, policy discourse, and constitutional values in India.

Sanika Kapse
Advisor, International Investment Law

SanikaKapase is an India based advocate and incoming doctoral candidate at the Central European University. She has completed hersecond Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Trade and Investment Law from Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University. She has previously completed her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London, while working as a Visiting Lecturer at ILS Law College, Pune. Her areas of interest are investment law, international investment arbitration, International commercial arbitration and international trade law.

Girija Ranade
Advisor, Law, Technology and Policy

Girija Ranade is an Assistant Professor at SRM School of Law, Chennai. She holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights & IT Law from Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global Universityand a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur. Her research interests lie in data protection, AI governance, and IT law, with particular attention to India’s regulatory framework and the political economy of technology. She has also worked on litigation research and drafting with practicing advocates in Nagpur and holds certifications in IP and Patent Process (RGNIIPM) and Cyber Law (Symbiosis Law School). She brings a growing body of scholarship at the intersection of law, technology, and policy to CLJB’s research and advocacy work.
