Centre for Law and Justice (CLJB) invites application for Internships from students of Law, Public Policy, Public Administration, Humanities, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, Management, Science and Technology.
Internships are offered on a rolling and/or seasonal basis (winter, summer, and semester-long tracks).
Interns are attached to specific research verticals (Law, Public Policy, Governance, Advocacy, Stakeholder Consultation, Extension/Outreach) based on interest and academic background.
Interns are expected to contribute to ongoing projectsrelated to the core activities of the CLJB under the supervision of the assigned mentor.
Interns are expected to participate in all the activities of the CLJB like conferences/seminars/workshops/panel discussions during the period of internship. Such activities may be held or weekends.
Duration of the internship ranges from 4 weeks to 12 weeks.
Internship may be terminated in case the interns are non-responsive and fail to attend to the work assigned by the mentor within stipulated timelines or the performance the intern is not satisfactory in view of the mentor.
All the internship opportunities are remote based.
A candidate can avail internship opportunity only once in a particular academic year. He/she can make fresh application for internship in the subsequent academic year.
There is no provision of any remuneration for the interns.
Certificates of Completion of Internship are issued based on satisfactory performance and deliverables submitted.
An internship with CLJB does not guarantee, and should not be construed as assuring, any future employment, job offer, or placement. Internships are intended solely for learning, exposure, and skill-development purposes.
Application Procedure
Prospective candidate may submit Cover Letter, CV, Statement of Purpose (SOP) in 250 words, anda writing sample (published or unpublished) to director@cljb.in
Application of candidates submitting Statement of Purpose or writing sample generated by AI will be summarily rejected.
Shortlisted candidates may be required to undergo a brief interaction/interview.
Selected interns are onboarded with a defined scope of work, deliverables, reporting structure, and duration of engagement.
